With most critical appraisal being, at best, an utter bore, and little of what passes for Evidence Based Medicine being of practical relevance to General Practitioners, we aim to provide an alternative.
Good critical appraisal doesn’t contain reams of statistics. It involves healthy scepticism and an ability to spot flaws in what is being peddled. We aim to keep our appraisals brief, and focus on one key point per article.
We are a collective of General Practitioners based in Liverpool with an academic background. If this turns out to be successful, we will probably put our names on the website.
